MEET BRETT
Behind every organization, every team, and every big decision are people trying to do meaningful work, navigate challenges, and figure out what's next.
I'm Brett Random, a leadership consultant with more than 20 years of experience spanning frontline service and executive leadership. My background in social work and organizational leadership has shaped how I approach challenges: with curiosity, compassion, strategic thinking, and a commitment to meaningful results. I've learned that putting people first doesn't mean lowering the bar. It means creating environments where people feel valued, expectations are clear, and accountability matters.
Whether I'm helping an organization strengthen its culture, supporting a leader through a difficult challenge, or working with someone who's ready for a new career direction, my goal is the same: to help people recognize their strengths, navigate change, and move forward with purpose.
WHAT EXPERIENCE HAS TAUGHT ME
Growth isn't always comfortable, but it's always worth it.
Heading 4
I didn't step into leadership feeling like I had it all figured out. There were times I questioned whether I had the knowledge, experience, or confidence I thought everyone else had. Taking on new challenges was intimidating, but I learned to push through the uncertainty and give myself the chance to grow.
Mentorship played a big role in my journey. Having people who challenged me, shared their experience, and encouraged me along the way helped me recognize strengths I didn't always see in myself.
Those experiences shaped the leader I am today. I've learned that strong leaders don't need to have all the answers. They need to be willing to listen, accept feedback, ask questions, and remain teachable. Some of our greatest growth happens when we're willing to step outside our comfort zone and learn from others.
